Tenzer and Lunin LLP is a New York based general business practice law firm with extensive experience advising and representing the health care industry.  The firm is intimately familiar with the regulatory, licensing and operational issues faced by the health care industry in today’s rapidly evolving regulatory environment, and provides creative, innovative and practical solutions for its clients, whether in transactional, regulatory and/or litigation matters.

Our clients include nursing homes, adult homes, pharmacies, hospitals, physicians, physician groups, medical laboratories, home care providers, equipment suppliers, community residences, diagnostic and treatment centers, treatment programs, managed care entities, independent practice associations and other health care providers.

For over thirty years, the partners of the firm have been advising its clients concerning a wide variety of matters, including in the following areas:

Litigation and Dispute Resolution

• Federal and State Court litigation and arbitration concerning regulatory and reimbursement issues as well as general commercial matters; and
• administrative litigation as well as government audit and enforcement matters, including representation of clients in licensure, survey, reimbursement, regulatory and sanction proceedings before the New York State Department of Health, the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General, the Office of Professional Medical Conduct, the United States Department of Health and Human Services, the New York State Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, the New York State Deputy Office of the Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, and the New York City Human Resources Administration.
